Medusa Hybrid Filter Sunset 6mm: Activated Charcoal Meets Vegan Cellulose for the Cleanest Draw
You're sitting with friends on the terrace, the evening is warm and the mood is relaxed. That's exactly when you don't want to compromise on draw performance. Cheap filter material that compresses after just a few draws or leaves an unpleasant aftertaste ruins the session. The Medusa Hybrid Filter Sunset 6mm tackles this directly: activated charcoal sits precisely between two vegan cellulose fibre caps that stabilise the draw and let the flavour of your blend come through.
The result is a smooth, cool smoke without the typically bitter finish that low-quality acetate filters so often produce. The draw stays consistent right to the final third, because the cellulose caps structurally support the filter chamber.
-
Hybrid construction: Activated charcoal core between two cellulose caps delivers a cooler draw and noticeably reduces bitter aftertaste

Buy Activated Charcoal Filters in Switzerland: What Sets the Medusa Sunset Apart from the Standard
Anyone looking to buy activated charcoal filters will find many simple insert filters in the Swiss online market. The Medusa Sunset goes a step further. The combination of activated charcoal and two structure-providing fibre caps makes all the difference in practice: the filter doesn't collapse under draw pressure, the cross-section stays consistently open, and the flavour of your chosen blend is never masked.
The Sunset colour line makes the filters instantly recognisable at a glance. If you use several varieties at once, you'll always know which is which. The resealable bag isn't just a marketing detail — it's genuinely functional: activated charcoal is hygroscopic and absorbs ambient moisture. The airtight seal keeps filters dry and therefore effective.
