Papers, also called rolling papers or blättchen, are available here in all common formats: from regular and king size slim to rolls. Whether thin rice paper, unbleached hemp paper or flavoured papers from well-known brands such as OCB, RAW and Gizeh, including matching filter tips.
Rolling papers – known in Switzerland as Papes – are one of the most essential items in any headshop. At CBDeluxe, Switzerland's specialist online headshop, you'll find a wide selection of rolling papers in every size, material, and format: from classic white and unbleached brown papers to ultra-thin rice papers, natural hemp papers, flavoured wraps, and ready-made cones. Whether you roll cigarettes, use cones and blunts, or prefer filters and tips to complete your roll, CBDeluxe stocks everything you need. Brands such as OCB, RAW, Rizla, and Highstore cover every preference. All orders are delivered discreetly across Switzerland with free shipping from CHF 50.
The material of a rolling paper directly affects burn speed, flavour, and feel. Classic white papers are bleached for a clean look and burn evenly. Unbleached (brown) papers skip the bleaching process entirely for a more natural choice with a slightly earthy taste. Rice papers are the thinnest available: they burn slowly, produce minimal ash, and add almost nothing to the flavour of your tobacco or CBD flowers, making them the preferred choice of experienced rollers. Hemp papers sit between rice and standard papers in thickness – sturdy enough for beginners yet natural enough for those who prefer plant-based materials. CBDeluxe carries all four types in single booklets and multi-packs.
Rolling paper sizes follow a recognised standard. Regular (Single Wide / 1¼) is the most widely used format and suits most hand-rolled cigarettes. King Size and King Size Slim are longer and narrower – popular for a slower, more relaxed smoke. Double Wide papers allow a broader roll without needing to join two sheets. For those who prefer to set their own length, rolls offer continuous paper on a spool. Pair your papers with matching filters and tips and store everything in one of our tobacco bags and pouches for a neat, portable rolling kit.
Flavoured rolling papers add a subtle taste – fruit, vanilla, chocolate, or liquorice – without altering the tobacco or herb itself. They are particularly popular paired with aromatic pipe and rolling tobacco or with CBD flowers. Pre-rolled cones remove the rolling step entirely: simply fill, tap down, and twist. For blunt-style wraps, see our dedicated Cones & Blunts category.
A good roll starts with dry, well-broken-down tobacco or herb. Use a grinder for a consistent, fine grind. Place your filter tip at one end before rolling. Roll from the filter end and tuck the paper edge under the tobacco before sealing. If you struggle with hand-rolling, a rolling machine or filling machine from our accessories range produces a perfectly even cigarette every time. Light with a soft-flame lighter rather than a torch to avoid scorching the paper at the tip.
Everything about paper types, sizes, materials, and the best choice for your roll – clearly explained.
Rice papers are the thinnest and slowest-burning – they add almost no flavour and are ideal for experienced rollers wanting a pure smoke. Hemp papers are natural hemp fibres, slightly thicker, easier to handle, and popular for those preferring plant-based materials. Regular white papers are the most widely available and easiest to use, especially for beginners. Unbleached brown papers are essentially regular papers without the bleaching step. For CBD flowers, rice or hemp papers are preferred; for everyday tobacco, standard papers work perfectly. Browse all options in our papers range.
For most hand-rolled cigarettes, 1¼ (standard) is the most practical size. King Size is longer and better suited for a slower, more generous smoke. King Size Slim is the same length but narrower – popular for a more elegant, tapered roll. Rolls let you cut to any length and are cost-effective for frequent rollers. If you are new to rolling, King Size papers give you more margin for error. Pair with a filter tip of matching width for the best result.
Yes – pre-rolled cones are the easiest way to get a consistent result without any rolling skill. Simply fill the cone from the open end, pack gently, and twist the tip closed. Cones are available in standard and king-size, in classic white, unbleached, and hemp. The trade-off is cost: slightly more expensive per unit than loose papers. Once comfortable with the basics, flat rolling papers with a filter tip give you more control. See the full selection of cones and blunts at CBDeluxe.
Uneven burning (canoeing) is usually caused by unevenly distributed tobacco, a damp paper, or lighting from a torch flame. Ensure your tobacco is evenly ground – a grinder produces consistent texture. Roll with firm, even pressure so there are no loose air pockets. Keep papers stored cool and dry. When lighting, use a gentle soft-flame lighter and rotate slowly to ignite the tip evenly. If the roll keeps going out, the pack is too tight – loosen your technique slightly.
Yes – rolling papers are fully legal to purchase online in Switzerland. CBDeluxe ships across Switzerland with orders placed by 2 p.m. delivered the following day. Shipping is free from CHF 50 – easy to reach by combining papers with filters, a grinder, or any other items from the accessories range. All orders are packed discreetly. Rolling papers do not require age verification on their own, but if your order includes tobacco products such as snuff or rolling tobacco, the standard 18+ verification applies to the full order.
